Robot in Medical science/Robot

The world has become in handy

Maybe you will hear the name of the robot.  Did you know that medical field has a huge role to play robot? What looks incredible to you? Are you amazing robot capable abdominal surgery without use any cutting surgical instrument? Not just you, many have they don’t believe that.
Robot is a one type of mechanical and electronic program which operate by a computer capable of carrying out a complex series of actions automatically and individually. But Robots cannot guided by an external control device by itself. Its may be made on the lines of human body organ, but most robots are machines that designed designed to performance   with no regard to their artistic.

The world become smaller and easier for robot. Currently robots are playing a leading role in medical field. A group of Hong Kong universities scientist capable to performing abdominal surgery without cutting into patient. A medical robot is robot which used in the medical sciences. Medical science include surgical robot for abdominal surgery without cutting into the patient’s body has been jointly.

History of Robot

In 1985 the first Robot assisted in surgery was the Arthorobot that was test and used for the first time in Vancouver. This robot assisted in being able to manipulate and position the patient's leg on voice command where attacked. Intimately involved were Biomedical beginners UBC Engineering Physics grad.

A group of bio medical engineering has recently emerged as its own sector, which as compared to many other engineering fields such an evolution is common field transitions from being a specialization among already established fields sector. To being considered a field in itself. Much of the work in biomedical engineering consists of research and development spanning a broad area of sub-fields. Prominent biomedical engineering applications include the development.

How robots work in the medical field
Robotic surgery are kinds of a surgical procedures that are done using robotic system. The acrobatically surgery is use assisted minimally invasive surgery and join. Instead of directly moving the instrument, the surgeon uses one two methods to administer the instruments.

The robotic arms are carry out those movements that using defectors and manipulators to perform the actual surgery. In a system of computer controlled systems, the surgeon uses a computer to controlling the robotic arms and its defectors activities. One benefit of using the computerised methods, that system the surgeon does not have to be present, leading to the 100% possibility for remote where human surgeon is not physically present with the patient.

Modern Science Robotics give encourages the human life of exceptionally high-quality man scripts that move the field of medical robotics toward more intelligent, capable systems. The journal is particularly interested in highlighting in VIVO and first-use-in-human efforts, as well as fundamental advances in micro robotics.

Work as replacing Human Worker
The question for robotics in healthcare better they will take jobs away from humans for replacing. There are several reasons for the machines will not replace their human counter parts for regular activities. For an example, most hospitals have less than 300 beds for patient. They cannot afford their technology.

The automated guided robot require a dedicated place, room or floor tracks of navigation devices throughout the facilities. Other hand carts work with the help of a laser-drawn map of the hospital programming into them that includes elevators, turns and automated doors. That process is also extremely expensive. But robotic assistants cannot replace basic human contact.

Though the technology is expensive for people a few number of people years from being implemented, the use of robots is changing healthcare and—in ways we can only imagine— will continue to do so.

Pros
  • Robotic surgery offers small  incisions
  • The robotic and minimally invasive surgery results in smaller than incisions
  • Robotic surgery increases the accuracy
  • Robotics offers precision,reliability,high performance

·      Cons

  • Robotic surgery is expensive both in terms of capital costs
  • Robotic assistants cannot replace basic human contact
